Questions for reflection on Envy and Greed:
  1. Envy is sorrow at another's good - they possess an object, a quality, prosperity, praise or status that we desire but don't possess. Can you remember a time when you felt this?
  2. Greed is the excess love of material things and the power and position that often comes with them. When was the last time you felt this?
  3. How many masters do you have? See Matthew 6:24; 1 Timothy 6:6-10.
  4. Consider ways you might reduce your desires, increase your charity, and celebrate blessings another person receives.
Rev. Chris Roth posts the text of the sermons on his blog: http://revchrisroth.blogspot.ca/
