Questions for reflection on Envy and Greed:
- Envy is sorrow at another's good - they possess an object, a quality, prosperity, praise or status that we desire but don't possess. Can you remember a time when you felt this?
- Greed is the excess love of material things and the power and position that often comes with them. When was the last time you felt this?
- How many masters do you have? See Matthew 6:24; 1 Timothy 6:6-10.
- Consider ways you might reduce your desires, increase your charity, and celebrate blessings another person receives.
