Questions for reflection on Gluttony:
  1. It has been said that if you cannot conquer a desire having to do with the body, it is unlikely you will be able to conquer a  harmful spiritual desire. Reflect on your desires. Is this true?
  2. Why do you think people paid more attention to fast days in the past? We have an amazing amount and variety of food, but we tend not to take fasting seriously.
  3. Gluttony has been described as a hunger that is fed in the wrong way. What are your hungers?
