Questions for reflection on Mark 4:26-34
- Jesus could have used many images to speak about the Kingdom. Imagine some accurate and inaccurate images. Why does Jesus choose these images?
- A mustard plant was often considered to be an aggressive weed. Why would Jesus compare the kingdom to this unwanted plant?
- Can you imagine a modern image for the kingdom that would convey the same idea?
