Questions for reflection on 1 John 4:7-21
- What do you think it means that “God is love” (vs 8) rather than “God is loving”?
- In vs. 20-21 we are told that our love for our fellow Christian is a direct reflection of our love for God. Why is there this connection?
- John seems to suggest it is easier to love God who is unseen than to love a fellow Christian who is seen. What is your experience?
