Questions for reflection on Genesis 28:

1. What limitations do you (knowingly or unknowingly) place on God? Where is He likely to show up? To who is He likely to show up to?
2. Have you ever experienced God in an unexpected place? At an unexpected time? or through an unexpected person?
3. Can you think of a time when with Jacob you could have said, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it!” ?
