Questions for reflection on Luke 13:1-9:
- What does it mean to be a ‘sinner’?
- What is your understanding of ‘repentance’?
- Have you ever suffered and thought it was due to your sin? How does this Gospel reading inform your understanding? (see the book of Job, and John 9:2)
- What is your understanding of “Original Sin”? (Rom 3:23)
- What does the fruit of the fig tree represent? Who is the gardener?
- Count small graces around you that you are thankful for (sunshine, hot coffee, etc.) Start your day thanking God for these.
- Do something simple to bless someone this week. For added fun, do it secretly.
